前列腺癌中PTEN蛋白表达与血清PSA水平的相关性

目的探讨前列腺癌(PCa)组织中PTEN蛋白的表达与血清PSA水平的相关性。方法采用免疫组织化学SABC法对32例PCa和10例前列腺增生(BPH)组织中PTEN蛋白的表达进行检测,并比较各组间PTEN蛋白表达水平的差异及其与血清PSA水平、PCa病理分级、临床分期及预后的关系。结果PTEN在PCa、BPH组织中的阳性表达率分别为31.3%和100.0%,二者比较有显著性差异(P<0.05),且PCa组织中PTEN蛋白的表达与血清PSA水平、病理分级、临床分期和肿瘤转移呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论随着肿瘤细胞病理分级、临床分期的增高,PTEN蛋白阳性表达率降低,它的异常表达在PCa的发生、发展中起重要作用,检测PTEN蛋白的表达有助于判断病情及预后。

The correlation between expressions of PTEN in prostate cancer and the level of PSA in serum

Objective To investigate the correlation between expressions of PTEN protein in prostate cancer (PCa)and the level of PSA in serum.Methods The expressions of PTEN in 10 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)and 32 cases of PCa were detected with immunohistochemistry of SABC.and the levels of PTEN expression were compared between PCa and BPH tissues,and its possible correlation with level of PSA in serm,pathological grade,clinical stage and prognosis was investigated.Results The positive rate of expression of PTEN protein in PCa and BPH tissues was 31.3% andl00.0% respectively.Significant differences of expression was found between PCa and BPH samples(P<0.05),the expression of PTEN in PCa correlates negatively with level of PSA in serum,pathological grade, clinical stage and neoplastic metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion The higher the pathological grade and clinical stage of tumor were,the lower the expression of PTEN.The abnormal expression of PTEN may play an important role in the development of PCa.PTEN examination is useful for the judgement of tumor development and prognosis.
