二甲双胍对氯氮平所致双相情感障碍患者代谢综合征的影响

目的观察二甲双胍对氯氮平所致的双相情感障碍（BD）患者代谢综合征（MS）的治疗效果。方法将79例伴有氯氮平所致MS的BD患者按照随机数字表法分为二甲双胍组39例和对照组40例。分别在治疗前及治疗后第8、16周末测量患者的腰围、BMI、血压、空腹血糖（FBS）、HDL、LDL、TC和TG。其中腰围、BMI、血压测量由一位经过培训的护士完成。FBS、HDL、LDL、TC、TG通过全自动生化分析仪检测。结果两组间比较，治疗第8周末两组腰围、BMI及TG指标的比较差异均有统计学意义（均P＜0.05），治疗16周末两组腰围、BMI、HDL、TG指标比较差异均有统计学意义（均P＜0.05）。二甲双胍组与对照组比较可以改善患者的BMI、腰围、HDL和TG。结论二甲双胍可以作为一种辅助治疗,治疗氯氮平所致的双相情感障碍患者的MS。

Metformin for clozapine-induced metabolic syndrome in patients with bipolar disorder

Objective To evaluate metformin as an adjunctive therapy for clozapine- induced metabolic syndrome in patients with bipolar disorder (BD). Methods Seventy nine BD patients with clozapine-induced metabolic syndrome were randomized into metformin group (n=39) and control group (n=40). Waist circumference, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure (BP), fasting blood sugar (FBS), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) were determined before and 8, 16 weeks after treatment. Results There were significant differences in waist circumference (P=0.02), BMI (P=0.03) and TG (P=0.00) between two groups at the end of 8 weeks. Significant differences were also observed in waist circumference, BMI, HDL, TG at the end of 16 weeks (P=0.00). Conclusion Metformin can be considered as an adjunctive therapy for clozapine-induced metabolic syndrome in patients with BD.
