The Research Status of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in the Treatment of Leucopenia after Radiation and Chemotherapy

Objective To provide simple and effective method for the prevention and treatment of leucopenia after tumor radiation and chemo -therapy.Methods By looking up the literature of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of the disease in recent years , a summary on the related research was carried out .Results In recent years , more and more researches have been applied in the treatment of leucope-nia by acupuncture and moxibustion , and achieved gratifying achievements .Conclusion The acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of leucopenia has steady , quick effect and good curative effect .It not only increased white blood cells , but also increased the body's immune function, avoided the side effects of drugs produced , and improved the clinical symptoms and the quality of life of patient .
