Abstract: | The Wada-Cutter cardiac valve prosthesis, a hingeless valve, was developed and used clinically in 106 patients in whom 42 aortic valve replacements, 48 mitral valve replacements, 5 tricuspid valve replacements, and 11 multiple valve replacements were done. A continuous knotless suture technique was invariably employed for fixation of the prosthesis regardless of the type of operation. |
