口服青蒿琥酯预防日本血吸虫病扩大试验研究

１９９４年夏选择疫区鄱阳湖边的星子县２个自然村和恒湖农场的１个自然村，按双盲配对设青蒿琥酯和安慰剂两组。剂量为６ｍｇ／ｋｇ顿服，安慰剂形状、色泽、重量相同。每周服１次，试验期共服药８次于停止服药后４周进行效果评价。粪检用Ｋａｔｏ’ｓ法加孵化。共考核服青蒿琥酯２２６人，全部阴性。对照（安慰剂组）考核１７９人，阳性率１４．５％。服药组无１例急性血吸虫病发生，对照组发生３例。服药后询问５４００人次，副反应出现率在０．４％以下；与对照组无差异。服药后血尿常规、肝、肾功能及心电图复查都在正常值范围内，与对照组比较也无差异。

EXPANDED EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE PREVENTION OF SCHISTOSOMIASIS JAPONICA BY ORAL ARTESUNATE

To determine the effect of oral artesunate to prevent schistosomiasis japonica,we selected two pilot fields for study in summer in 1994,They were two natural villages and Henghu Farm which were both highly endemic areas along Poyang Lake.Each village was divided into two grougs of artesunate and placebo according to double-blind test.The drug dose was 6mg/kg single,once a week,8 times total during the experiment.The effectiveness was evaluated 4 weeks after stopping medicine.Using kato's to examine stool,226 cases taking artesunate were all negative.Of 179 cases of control group the positive rate was 14.5%.No acute schistosomiasis case occurred in subjects taking medicine,but there were three acute cases in control groups.5400 person-times were observed after taking medicine with a rate of side effect below 0.4% and no difference from the control group.The blood and urine routine test,liver and kidney function test and electrocardiogram were all in normal range,and had no difference from the control group.
