| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and carbohydrate antigen 153(CA153)and the clinical characteristics and prognosis of breast cancer.Method A total of 220 patients with breast cancer(breast cancer group)and 100 healthy subjects(healthy control group)were selected.The levels of serum CA125 and CA153 were compared between the two groups,and the positive rates of serum CA125 and CA153 in patients with breast cancer with different clinical characteristics were compared.Patients with breast cancer were followed up for 5 years to analyze the prognostic factors of breast cancer patients.Result The serum levels of CA125 and CA153 in breast cancer group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group(P<0.01).The positive rates of serum CA125 and CA153 in patients with III-IV stage were significantly higher than those in patients with I-II stage(P<0.05).The positive rate of serum CA153 in patients with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that in patients without lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The average survival time of patients with positive expression of CA125,CA153 were significantly shorter than that of patients with negative expression(P<0.01).Clinical stage,lymph node metastasis,degree of differentiation,expression of CA125 and CA153 were independent prognostic factors of breast cancer.Conclusion CA125 and CA153 are highly expressed in patients with breast cancer,and the positive rate of expression is different in patients with different clinical stages and lymph node metastasis,and the positive expression of serum CA125 and CA153 are closely related to the prognosis of patients. |
