Effect of laparoscopic surgery on the efficacy and stress response of patients with early ovarian cancer

Objective To investigate the effect of laparoscopic surgery on the efficacy and stress response of patients with early ovarian cancer.Method According to the difference of operation methods,140 patients were divided into observation and control group,70 cases in each group.In the observation group,hand assisted laparoscopic ovanan cancer cell reduction was used,while in the control group,laparotomy was used.The surgical-related indicators,levels of stress response indicators[cortisol,adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)and epmephrine]before and after the operation,the occurrence of complications,the short-term efficacy and tumor recurrence of the two groups were compared.Result The operation time,bowel recovery time,surgical incision length and hospital stay of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group,and the amount of intraoperative blood loss was significantly lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).After operation,the levels of cortisol,ACTH and epinephrine of the two groups of patients were higher than those of this group,and the levels of cortisol,ACTH,and epinephrine of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the complication rate,survival rate and recurrence rate between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic cytoreductive surgery has a good short-term effect in the treatment of patients with early ovarian cancer,and has less surgical trauma,less stress to the patient,and helps the patient to recover after surgery.
