| Abstract: | AIDS complicated with cerebral sparganosis is a rare disease. Due to atypical clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment are difficult, misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis rates are high. The first case of AIDS complicated with cerebral sparganosis who was admitted to and diagnosed in our hospital is reported in this study and the relevant literatures are reviewed. This study aims at discussing the clinical manifestations, imaging features, diagnosis and treatment of this disease, and providing a reference for treatment of AIDS complicated with parasitic encephalopathy. |
