Abstract:Objective The construction of this training system aims to ensure the quality of TCM diagnostic training teaching during the pandemic, to develop students’ TCM clinical thinking, to strengthen their TCM clinical skills, to build an online TCM tongue diagnosis training system, and to apply it in the epidemic network teaching, so as to guarantee “non-stop teaching and non-stop school”. Methods The TCM tongue diagnosis training system was constructed and applied to the online course of TCM Diagnosis Skills Training during the pandemic. After the course, the Questionnaire Star was used to design the questionnaire on the use of the system. 230 undergraduate students from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese medicine were randomly selected as the survey objects to evaluate and feedback the use of the system, A total of 118 students from 4 classes taking this course participated in the system examination and test. Results At present, there are 141 461 visits to the tongue diagnosis training system. Statistics show that more than 98% of the students believe that the real clinical pictures and cases in the tongue diagnosis training system are significantly helpful for online learning during the outbreak of pandemic, and 94.35% say they will continue to use the system for learning and training after the course. The system assessment results show that, 56 people scored 80-90 points and 25 people scored 90-100 points. Conclusion It is very necessary to build a skill training platform for the four clinical diagnosis of TCM, which can significantly optimize the online teaching and assessment methods of TCM practical training courses and provide more learning options for students.
