Visualization analysis and hotspot of allergic rhinitis in children

Objective To explore the research situation on allergic rhinitis in children and summarize the research hotspots and innovation point.Methods "Allergic rhinitis" and "children" were used as the subject words in the CNKI database, and the chosen literatures were analyzed by CiteSpace visually.Results A total of 1 242 articles were included in this paper. The visualization analysis showed that the research on allergic rhinitis in children in China had progressed from slow exploration in the early stage to rapid start in the past two decades and then to steady progress at present. The main keywords were "children" "rhinitis" "allergic" "asthma" and "allergens", and the recent focus was on traditional Chinese medicine research. The prolific authors were Pang Chong''s team, and the high-yield institutions were otorhinolaryngology department of Shanghai seventh people''s hospital and otorhinolaryngology department of children''s hospital affiliated to capital institute of pediatrics.Conclusions The number of articles related to children allergic rhinitis is increasing year by year. The research focus tends to be the application of traditional Chinese medicine therapy, but the application standard and safety need to be studied further.
