| Abstract: | The constituents of Herba Cistamhe (C.salsa used in Japan and C. deserticola used in China) are described.Thereview indieates that some cistanosides are the main active constituents of Herba Cistanche,and may be taken as theguide and precursor compounds for synthesizing new tonic drugs. |
