| Abstract: | The Authors describe a case of a patient showing, during an episode of chest pain, an ecg-pattern of wide and tall "Q" wave simulating inferior myocardial infarction. In fact, a further ecg recorded during sinus rhythm denotes that the "Q" wave was a retrograde P wave generated by a nodal rhythm. The other known causes of "pseudonecrosis" are discussed. |
