Effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with catgut implantation at acupoint on anal function in patients with constipation after operation of mixed hemorrhoid

Objective To evaluate the effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with catgut implantation at acupoint in the treatment of constipation after mixed hemorrhoid and its influence on anal function of patients.Methods A total of 40 patients with mixed hemorrhoid who were admitted in our hospital and the Xingyuan hospital of Yulin from June 2018 to September 2019 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,with 20 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with abdominal acupuncture combined with catgut implantation at acupoint,while the control group was treated with oral Maziren pills.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the scores of defecation difficulty,defecation frequency and defecation time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the anal canal resting pressure in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the rectal anal inhibitory reflex,anal initial defecation sensory threshold and maximum anal canal autonomous systolic pressure were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The wound healing time and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05);the next day after treatment,the wound VAS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Abdominal acupuncture combined with catgut implantation at acupoint can effectively improve constipation symptoms after operation of mixed hemorrhoid,promote the recovery of anal function and wound healing,reduce the occurrence of other complications,shorten hospital stay of patients and reduce medical cost,which is worth popularizing.
