Clinical Observation of Yueju Pill Combined With Paxil in the Treatment of Depressive Episode

Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of Yueju Pill combined with paroxetine in the treatment of depression.Methods A total of 100 patients with depression in our hospital were selected as the research object and divided into two groups according to the random number method,control group and observation group.The observation group was treated with Yueju Pill combined with paroxetine,and the control group was treated with paroxetine.The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were observed.Results There was no significant difference in Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and Beck depression rating scale(BDI)scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,HAMD and BDI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The degree of adverse reactions in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Yueju Pill and paroxetine has significant effect in the treatment of depression,and can significantly improve the patients5 depressive mood,and the degree of adverse reactions is mild.
