Effects of prone position touch therapy combined with maternal sound intervention on the improvement of neonatal jaundice condition,sleep quality and behavior state

Objective To explore the effects of prone position touch therapy combined with maternal sound intervention on the improvement of neonatal jaundice condition,sleep quality and behavior state.Methods A total of 110 children with neonatal jaundice treated in our hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to random number table method,the children were divided into control group and observation group,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given prone position touch therapy combined with maternal sound intervention on the basis of the control group.The improvement time of condition(first defecation time,fetal stool turning yellow time and jaundice regression time),laboratory indexes(TBIL,IBIL and DBIL),sleep latency,sleep time and behavior state score were compared between the two groups.Results The first defecation time,fetal stool turning yellow time and jaundice regression time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of TBIL,IBIL and DBIL in the two groups were lower than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the sleep latency of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,the sleep time was longer than that of the control group,and the behavior state score was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of prone position touch therapy combined with maternal sound intervention in clinical nursing of neonatal jaundice can not only promote the improvement of condition,but also improve sleep quality and behavior state,which is worthy of popularization and application.
