Application effect of ultrasound-assisted intraspinal anesthesia in obese puerpera undergoing cesarean section

Objective To investigate the application effect of ultrasound-assisted intraspinal anesthesia in obese puerpera undergoing cesarean section.Methods Eighty obese puerpera undergoing cesarean section by intraspinal anesthesia in our hospital were divided into observation group(ultrasound-assisted group) and control group(traditional method group) according to the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The observation group used ultrasound to lacate the L_3-4 lumbar space,set the puncture point and predetermined puncture path,and performed anesthetic puncture.The control group used traditional palpation to locate the L_3-4 lumbar space,set the puncture point and predetermined puncture path,and performed anesthetic puncture.The puncture condition,anesthesia effect,changes of vital signs during operation,neonatal Apgar score and complications related to anesthesia were compared between the two groups.Results The preparation time,puncture time and onset time of anesthesia in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the puncture times was less than that in the control group(P <0.05).The proportion of anesthesia effect with grade Ⅰ in the observation group was 97.50%,which was significantly higher than87.50% in the control group(P <0.05).At 10 min after anesthesia,HR,SBP and DBP in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P <0.05).The 1,5 and 10 min Apgar scores of newborns in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P <0.05).There were 6 cases(15.00%) of puncture point and peripheral pain in the control group,which was significantly more than 1 case(2.50%) in the observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound assisted intraspinal anesthesia puncture can shorten the anesthesia operation time of obese puerpera undergoing cesarean section,improve the success rate of one-time puncture and anesthesia effect,reduce puncture complications and maternal stress response,and improve neonatal Apgar score.
