Effects of personalized psychological nursing on mental health and quality of life of patients with advanced lung cancer

Objective To study the effects of personalized psychological nursing on mental health and quality of life of patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods Sixty-six patients with advanced lung cancer treated in our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 33 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received individualized psychological nursing on the basis of routine nursing.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,BPOMS total score,PFS scores and total score,SPBS and PSQI scores in the two groups were lower than those before intervention,while EORTC QLQ-C30 scores were higher than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Personalized psychological nursing for patients with advanced lung cancer will help to improve mental health and sleep quality,reduce cancer-related fatigue and self-perceived burden,and promote the improvement of quality of life.
