Clinical effect of modified Huatan Tongluo decoction on stroke with wind phlegm stasis syndrome and its influence on neurological function

Objective To explore the clinical effect of modified Huatan Tongluo decoction on stroke with wind phlegm stasis syndrome and its influence on neurological function of patients.Methods A total of 120 stroke patients with wind phlegm stasis syndrome admitted in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with modified Huatan Tongluo decoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndromes scores,serum neurocytokines level,neurological function and motor function of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the scores of phlegm syndrome and blood stasis syndrome in both groups decreased,those in the observation group were lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of S-100βand NSE in both groups decreased,the level of BDNF increased,those in the observation group were better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 7 and 14 d of treatment,NIHSS score decreased and MMSE score increased in both groups,those in the observation group were better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 15 and 30 d of treatment,FMA and MAS scores of the two groups increased,those in the observation group were higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified Huatan Tongluo decoction in the treatment of stroke with wind phlegm stasis syndrome has a significant effect,it can improve the TCM syndrome and the serum neurocytokines level,and promote the recovery of neurological function and motor function,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
