Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical accuracy of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of spinal trauma.Methods A total of 100 patients with suspected spinal trauma admitted from January 2017 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects,and all of them underwent CT and MRI examinations.Taking the surgical diagnosis result as the gold standard,the diagnostic efficacy of CT and MRI examinations for spinal trauma was analyzed.Results The total detection rate of paravertebral soft tissue injury,ligament injury,nerve root injury,vertebral contusion,spinal cord injury and spinal trauma in MRI examination was higher than that in CT examination(P<0.05).The sensitivity of CT examination in the diagnosis of spinal trauma was 81.63%,the specificity was 50.00%,the accuracy was 81.00%,the negative predictive value was 5.26%,and the positive predictive value was 98.77%.The sensitivity of MRI in the diagnosis of spinal trauma was 95.92%,the specificity was 50.00%,the accuracy was 95.00%,the negative predictive value was 20.00%,and the positive predictive value was 98.95%.The sensitivity and accuracy of MRI examinations in the diagnosis of spinal trauma were higher than those of CT(P<0.05).Conclusion The two imaging examination methods of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of spinal trauma have certain value.And MRI can better detect the injury of the patient,and the sensitivity and accuracy of the diagnosis are higher,it can provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
