The effect and clinical value of spiral CT scanning technology in the clinical diagnosis of patients with pulmonary nodules

Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect and clinical application value of spiral CT scanning technology in the diagnosis of pulmonary nodules.Methods 48 high-risk patients with lung cancer treated in Shanghe County People's Hospital from March 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study.All patients underwent low-dose and conventional dose spiral CT scanning.The detection rates of early lung cancer,pulmonary nodules,signs of pulmonary nodules and CT radiation examination indexes were compared between the two kinds of doses.Results There was no significant difference in the disease detection rate,the detection rate of various signs of pulmonary nodules and the average nodule diameter between the two kinds of doses of spiral CT(P>0.05).However,the weighted CT dose index,total current time product,dose length product and minimum erythema volume of low-dose scanning were lower than those of conventional dose group,and the total current time product of effective scanning was higher than those of conventional dose group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the spiral CT scan of lung nodules,low-dose scan can achieve the same examination results as conventional dose scan,and low-dose scan has lower radiation damage.Therefore,relatively speaking,low-dose scan has a higher overall application value.
