Development and application of virtual simulation teaching system of oral examination

In view of the outstanding problems existing in the traditional oral examination experimental teaching of“demonstration-practice-assessment”,such as various contents hard to remember,lack of clinical patients,and difficulties in objective evaluation,the virtual simulation teaching project of oral examination was developed and upgraded gradually.After 2 years exploration,the development of oral examination virtual simulation experiment teaching(1.0)and construction of the first phase of stomatology virtual simulation laboratory were completed,so the virtual simulation teaching system of oral examination(1.0)was basically established,and it was used in the first batch of teaching for 60 students.The questionnaire surveys of first batch showed that the virtual simulation teaching system of oral examination(1.0)had the advantages of vivid image,rich case models and objective evaluation,and played a positive role in solving the problems existing in the traditional“demonstration-practice-assessment”oral examination experimental teaching.Moreover,the virtual simulation experimental system of oral examination(1.0)was highly recognized by students.However,as a new system applied modern information technology to reform the traditional experimental teaching mode,the virtual simulation experimental system of oral examination(1.0)needs to be further optimized,iterative upgrades will improve the level of virtual simulation and enhance the promotion value of the oral examination virtual simulation teaching system.
