Clinical effect of comprehensive rehabilitation training combined with EEG biofeedback in the treatment of spastic cerebral palsy and its influences on motor function,balance ability,muscle tension and gait of children

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of comprehensive rehabilitation training combined with EEG biofeedback in the treatment of spastic cerebral palsy and its influences on motor function,balance ability,muscle tension and gait of children.Methods A total of 98 children with spastic cerebral palsy admitted in our hospital from February 2018 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group(n=48)and observation group(n=50).The control group was given comprehensive rehabilitation training,and the observation group was given comprehensive rehabilitation training combined with EEG biofeedback therapy.The gross motor function,fine motor function,balance ability,muscle tension and gait of the two groups were compared before and 6 months after treatment.Results Six months after treatment,the percentages of D and E zones and total score of GMFM-88 in both groups significantly increased,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Six months after treatment,the percentages of D and E zones and total score of FMFM in both groups significantly increased,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Six months after treatment,BBS score in both groups significantly increased,and that in the observation group was higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);six months after treatment,MAS score in both groups significantly decreased,and that in the observation group was lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Six months after treatment,the walking time of 10 m in both groups significantly shortened,and that in the observation group was shorter than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);six months after treatment,the 1 min walking distance in both groups significantly increased,and that in the observation was longer than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive rehabilitation training combined with EEG biofeedback has a significant clinical effect on children with spastic cerebral palsy,it can significantly improve motor function,balance ability,muscle tension and gait,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
