One successful case of Hyperkeloid treated by triple therapy

Objective To observe the curative effect of surgical resection combined with compound betamethasone injection and postoperative radiotherapy on super large keloids.Methods The patients underwent scar deformity correction and cosmetic suture after admission.Immediately after the operation,1 ml of compound betamethasone sodium phosphate and 2 ml of 2%lidocaine were injected.Insert the needle in the same direction and inject the drug into the skin lesion evenly and slowly until it becomes swollen and whitish.Electron beam radiotherapy was given on the second day after operation for a total of 5 days.The follow-up was 12 months.Results:Surgical excision of abdominal super-large keloids combined with compound betamethasone sodium phosphate injection and postoperative radiotherapy showed good results,and 12 patients were followed up.After a month,the patient felt pain,itching and other discomfort disappeared,the keloid was completely softened and flattened,soft to the touch without induration,and there was no recurrence 12 months after the completion of the treatment.Conclusion Surgical resection combined with compound betamethasone injection and postoperative radiotherapy has a positive effect on the treatment of super large keloids,which is worthy of clinical application.
