Effect of LBL combined with CBL in improving nurses'post competence

Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of lecture-based learning(LBL)combined with case based learning(CBL)in improving nurses'post competence in clinical nursing standardized training.Methods Sixty standardized training nurses in our hospital from June to December 2019 were selected as the research objects.The nurses were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The nurses in the control group took LBL and the nurses in the observation group took LBL combined with CBL.The post competence after training and result of examination of nurses in the two groups were compared;the evaluation of teaching mode and teaching satisfaction of nurses in the two groups were investigated.Results The scores of each dimension of post competence in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of theoretical basis,practical operation,nursing ward round and medical record writing in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of promoting theoretical knowledge,improving disease analysis ability,improving clinical operation ability,improving doctor-patient communication ability and cultivating autonomous learning ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of LBL combined with CBL in clinical nursing standardized training is conducive to ameliorate teaching quality,improve nurses'post competence and teaching satisfaction,which is worthy of extensive development.
