Analysis on the safety risk factors in laboratory at institutions of higher learning

In recent years, safety accidents have occurred from time to time in laboratories at institutions of higher learning, causing serious adverse effects and attracting great attention from the government and colleges and universities. Based on the on-the-spot visits and online communication, this paper investigates the present situation of laboratory safety management in institutions of higher learning and identified the risk factors of mismanagement, lack of professionalism in laboratory safety managers, non-standard laboratory planning and construction, and inadequate awareness of laboratory safety, etc. After in-depth analysis of the reasons, the authors put forward corresponding prevention and control measures, providing reference for the safety management of laboratories in colleges and universities.
