Effect of staged continuous nursing on self-care ability of arteriovenous internal fistula in hemodialysis patients

Objective To explore the effect of staged continuous nursing on self-care ability of arteriovenous internal fistula in hemodialysis patients.Methods A total of 210 hemodialysis patients with arteriovenous internal fistula admitted in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the recearch objects.The patients were divided into reference group(n=105)and research group(n=105)according to digital random method.The reference group was given routine nursing,and the research group was given staged continuous nursing.The self-care ability,self-management behavior,quality of life,occurrence of complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the scores of self-care ability,self-management behavior and quality of life in the research group were significantly higher than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidences of thrombosis,internal fistula obstruction,bleeding and infection in the research group were significantly lower than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of technical level,service attitude,language and behavior,health education in the research group were significantly higher than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Staged continuous nursing can effectively improve the self-care ability,self-management behavior and quality of life of hemodialysis patients with arteriovenous internal fistula,and reduce the occurrence of complications.
