Effects of remifentanil combined with propofol anesthesia on postoperative cognitive function and hemodynamics in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery

Objective To investigate the effects of remifentanil combined with propofol anesthesia on postoperative cognitive function and hemodynamics in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 120 elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received fentanyl and propofol combined anesthesia,and the experimental group received remifentanil and propofol combined anesthesia.The agitation condition,cognitive function,hemodynamic indexes,postoperative recovery and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The Ramsay score of the experimental group at awakening and 30,60 and 120 min after awakening was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The MMSE score of the experimental group at 1,3 h and 1 d after extubation was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The HR,SBP and DBP of the experimental group at 10 min after intubation and 5 and 15 min after operation were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The recovery time of spontaneous breathing,wake-up time,extubation time and recovery time of directional force in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 10.00%,which was lower than 31.67%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combined anesthesia with remifentanil and propofol in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery can reduce the degree of postoperative agitation,cognitive impairment and the incidence of adverse reactions,shorten the postoperative recovery time,and has little impact on the hemodynamics of patients,with great significance.
