The significance of transvaginal contrast-enhanced ultrasonography in the evaluation of fallopian tube patency and morphology in infertile patients

Objective To evaluate the patency and shape of fallopian tubes in infertile patients by transvaginal contrastenhanced ultrasonography.Methods 100 infertile patients were selected and examined by transvaginal four-dimensional hysterofallopian tube contrastus combined with laparoscopy to observe the patency and morphology of fallopian tube in different examination methods.Results The accuracy rate of clinical diagnosis of fallopian tube obstruction was 92.11%,unobstructed accuracy was 94.12%,unobstructed accuracy was 92.86%,and the overall accuracy was 93.00%.The specificity sensitivity,negative predictive value and positive predictive value in the detection of tubal obstruction were 95.24%,94.59%,9677% and 92.11%respectively.There were 13 cases of pain(5 cases of mild pain,6 cases of moderate pain,2 cases of severe pain)and 1 case of bleeding by transvaginal four-dimensional hysterofallopian tube ceUS.There were 14 cases of pain(mild pain in 6 cases,moderate pain in 7 cases,severe pain in 1 case),bleeding in 1 case,and vasovagal reaction in 1 case.There was no statistical significance in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the two examination methods(P>0.05).Conclusion In infertile patients,transvaginal four-dimensional hysterofallopian tube contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)has a significant effect on the patency and morphology of fallopian tube,with high accuracy and sensitivity,and no obvious adverse reactions.Therefore,CEUS can be used as the main means of clinical screening.
