Application effect of flipped classroom teaching mode based on WeChat platform in nephrotic syndrome internship

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of flipped classroom teaching mode based on WeChat platform in nephrotic syndrome internship.Methods A total of 69 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine form 2017 grade in medical college of northwest Minzu university who were interned in the nephrology department of affiliated hospital of northwest Minzu university from April to May 2021 were selected as the research objects.The students were divided into traditional group(n=36) and teaching reform group(n=33) according to different teaching modes.For the chapter contents of nephrotic syndrome,the traditional group adopted the traditional clinical internship teaching mode,and the teaching reform group adopted the flipped classroom teaching mode based on WeChat platform.After teaching,the teaching effects of the two groups were evaluated by means of theoretical examination and questionnaire survey.Results The theoretical examination score of the traditional group was(60.25 ±18.55),while that in the teaching reform group was(64.97±12.52),and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The students in the teaching reform group had higher evaluation on teaching methods,content settings and overall evaluation.The students in the teaching reform group had a higher evaluation of the ability to solve problems can be cultivated by consulting literature and materials.81.8% of the students in the teaching reform group hoped that teachers cound use WeChat and network resources to realize the "Online + offline" mixed teaching mode.Conclusion The flipped classroom teaching mode based on WeChat platform is feasible in nephrotic syndrome internship,it has certain advantages in improving students’ learning efficiency,cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability and strengthening the interaction between teachers and students,which can be popularized and applied in the internship of clinical nephrotic syndrome.
