摘 要: | 本文报告作者开发的一个计算机辅助面部不对称畸形分析设计系统,通过在后前位X光片上进行个体化分析与模拟外科设计,除具有快速、准确而简便的优点外,还特别有利于按照不同患者的具体情况选择和拟定最佳手术方案。

Abstract: | Since the advent of cephalometric radiography, orthodontists and surgeons have fo- cused on the application of lateral x-ray film. However, the frontal (PA) views also contain valuable information for diagnosis and treatment planning of dentofacial deformities. A computerized P-A analysis system has been developed to provide, clinically relevant information about specific locations and amounts of facial asymmetry. Its purpose is com- parative and quantitative, not normative. The clinician can also evaluate surgical plans which are different from the one proposed by this computer system. The surgeon, can cut change and otherwise manipulate the cutouts of the individualized maxilla、mandible and chin to determine the feasibility of alternate treatment plans. This computer aided system can be correlated with lateral cephalometric data to com- plete a three-dimensional facial assessment. |
