Implementing Quality Project to Create a New Situation in the Higher Education of Chongqing

The article summarizes the achievement achieved in Chongqing higher education field since Chongqing became the municipality directly under the central goverment, esp. since the universities and colleges increased the enrolment, by transforming the modes of thoughts, developing education, adjusting the structure, improving quality and serving economy and society.
