Abstract:Objective To discuss the relationship between vascular endothelium function and OX-LDL change in senile patients with hypertension so as to find out better treatment. Methods 60 senile patients with Hypertension at Stage II were selected as the hypertension group, and 30 normal cases were chosen as the control;a comparison between the 2 groups was made in general and the OX-LDL,NO, ET CEC was detected. Results There was no obvious difference in age and sex between the 2 groups, there existed a significant difference in blood pressure between the 2 groups(P<0.001);the OX-LDL,ET and CEC of hypertension group were higher than those of the control while the NO was lower than that in the control. Conclusions The research indicates that vascular endothelium function and OX-LDL change has positive relation with Hypertension at Stage II in senile patients, the protection of vascular endothelium function should be paid attention and antioxygen treatment should be given so as to delay the progress of hypertension.
Keywords:hypertension nitrogen monoxidum endothelin CEC Low density lipoprotein
