Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of evidence-based safety management methods in neonatal swimming centers. Methods This group of studies included 80 newborns who were delivered in the obstetric department of the hospital. The case data were selected from April 2018 to April 2019. All newborns were divided into 2 groups according to the random number table method. Forty newborns in the control group were given routine safety care, while 40 newborns in the study group were given evidence-based support for safety management on the basis of the control group, 20 behavioral nerve scores were compared at 7 d, 14 d, and 28 d after birth in the two groups of newborns, and the satisfaction evaluation of evidence-based management by parents of the two groups of newborns was compared. Results The neurobehavioral scores of 20 newborns in the study group at 7 d, 14 d and 28 d after birth were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in milk intake and body weight between the two groups of newborns at birth(P>0.05). After 6 d of birth, the milk intake and body weight of the two groups of newborns were significantly larger than at birth(P<0.05), and the milk intake and body weight of the newborns in the study group after 6 days were significantly larger than those in the control group(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction among the newborn parents in the study group was 97.50%, which was significantly higher than the satisfaction rate in the control group, which was 80.00%. The data comparison between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=4.000, P=0.045<0.05). Conclusion The evidence-based safety management method has a significant effect in the neonatal swimming center. It can increase the milk intake and weight of the newborn, improve the neurological development of the brain, and also increase the satisfaction of the parents of the children in nursing work. It is worthy of clinical application and in-depth research and promotion.
