直肠癌术前放疗的效果观察

目的探讨术前放疗对直肠癌的临床疗效。方法31例直肠癌患者为试验组,予以术前放疗,放疗结束后3～4周行根治性手术;以31例同期直接给予根治性手术的患者为对照组,随访2年,比较两组患者的淋巴结转移率、复发率及生存时间。结果试验组患者的复发率为29.0%、淋巴结转移率25.8%,均显著低于对照组51.6%和54.8%(P值均<0.05),试验组患者术后2年生存率为69.9%显著高于对照组39.8%(P<0.05)。结论术前放疗对直肠癌患者疗效肯定,可缩小肿瘤体积,降低术后复发率及淋巴结转移率,延长患者的术后生存时间。

Preoperative radiation for rectal carcinoma: An observation on curative effects

Objective To determine the clinical effects of preoperative radiation in rectal cancer.Method Thirty-one patients with rectal cancer were chosen as the trial group.They received preoperative radiation.At 3-4 weeks after the radiotherapy was completed,the patients underwent radical surgery.Another group of thirty-one cases with the same diagnosed disease received radical surgery alone,as the control group.The patients were followed for 2 years.The rate of lymph node metastasis,the rate of recurrence and the survial time were compared between the two groups.Result The relapse rate and lymph node metastasis in trial group were significantly lower than in the control group(29.0% vs 51.6%,P<0.05;25.8% vs 54.8%,P<0.05).The tumor-free time and postoperative survial time in patients of the trial group were also significantly longer compared to the controls(P= 0.011,P=0.0106),and the surval rate later 2 years after operation was also higher(69.9% vs 39.8%,P< 0.05).Conclusion Preoperative radiation is effective for rectal cancer patients.It might be able to diminishing gross tumor volume,reducing relapse and the rate of lymph node metastasis,and prolonging the survival time of patients with rectal cancer.
