应用普通橡皮管作为周围神经保护鞘的动物实验

作者采用普通橡皮管作为周围神经保护鞘做了动物实验,观察周围神经生长情况及光镜下组织学变化。结果表明,橡皮管可起到保护吻合口神经轴索对接,刺激再生的作用,今后可临床试用。

USE OF ORDINARY RUBBER PIPES AS PROTECTIVE SHEATHING OF NERVES AROUND THE LINE OF SUTURE IN ANIMAL EXPERIMENT

The process of routine suture of peripheral nerve can made the line of suture join into the connective tissues and influence regeneration of nerve fibers.The protection of the line of suture is gradually paid more attention to.We made experiments on animals by using ordinary rubber pipes as a protective sheathing of nerve around the line of suture. After observing for one week,two weeks or five weeks,the results show that in the experimental group the line of suture is smooth and neat.The proximal stump is as similar in diameter as the distant one. Under a microscope the nerve fibers have regenerated well and passed through the line of suture smoothly.They are in order and concentra- tive.In the control group the line of suture has been sticky,dented and not smooth.The arrangement of the nerve fibers is out of order twists and repeated.The experiment may offer a new method for treat- ing injured peripheral nerves.
