Significance Perioperative Nursing in 36 Patients with Upper Urinary Tract Stones Combined with Diabetes Mellitus

Objective To explore the methods of perioperative nursing in patients with upper urinary tract stones combined with diabetes mellitus(DM) treated by operation.Methods The perioperative nursing care situations of 36 patients with upper urinary tract stone obstruction associated with DM were reviewed.They were given the mental nursing,diet regulation,controlling blood sugar level,taking more care of catheter and drainage tube,and so on.Results Postoperatively 36 patients’ blood sugar level were satisfied,and none of them suffered from diabetes mellitus aggravated or hypoglycemia and infection.Conclusion It’s important to strengthen preoperative and postoperative observation and nursing,to give diet regulation,and control blood sugar level by way of the inspection results of blood glucose and urine glucose to adjust insulin dosage.Furthermore taken more care of catheter and drainage tube,the patients with upper urinary tract stones combined with diabetes mellitus can live through the peri operation period securely.
