Distribution and drug resistance of pathogens of lower respiratory tract infection in intensive care unit

Objective To analyze the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens of lower respiratory tract infection in intensive care unit.Methods 566 patients with lower respiratory tract infection in ICU ward of Dalian Central Hospital,Liaoning Province,from January to December 2018 were selected to analyze the distribution characteristics and drug resistance of bacteria in lower respiratory tract infection.Results There were 977 strains with the respiratory tract infection in ICU.The first 5 drug-resistant bacterias were acinetobacter baumanni,klebsiella pneumonia,pseudomonas aeruginosa,staphylococcus aureus and stenotrophomonas,respectively.The top 5 pathogens detected were Acinetobacter baumannii,Klebsiella pneumoniae,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Staphylococcus aureus,and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.Among them,carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa accounted for 84.9%and 37.6%,respectively,and the methicillin-resistant(MRSA)rate of Staphylococcus aureus was 71.7%.Conclusion The drug resistance is serius.We should use the antibiotics reasonably,reduce the occurrence of infection and decrease the mortality rate of injured patients.
