Efficacy and safety of Zhigancao decoction in the treatment of coronary heart disease complicated with arrhythmia

Objective To explore the curative effect of Zhigancao decoction in the treatment of coronary heart disease complicated with arrhythmia.Methods A total of 100 patients with coronary heart disease and arrhythmia who were admitted to our hospital from December 2018 to March 2020 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the principle of random allocation,,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mexiletine,and the observation group was treated with mexiletine+Zhigancao decoction.The TCM symptom scores and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in palpitation,fatigue and shortness of breath between the two groups;after treatment,the scores of palpitation,fatigue and shortness of breath in the observation group were(2.34±0.34)scores,(2.51±0.27)scores,(2.03±0.11)scores,respectively,which were lower than(4.15±0.21)scores,(4.02±0.29)scores,(3.61±0.12)scores in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(4.00%)was lower than that in the control group(8.00%),but the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion Zhigancao decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with coronary heart disease and arrhythmia,improve treatment efficiency,and high security,it is worthy of clinical promotation.
