Abstract:The Garlic Shoots was cultivated in Se-containing solutions with different concentrations. After cleaned, dried, and sampled, it was digested by HNO_3-HC10_4 and dissolved in dilute HCI.(?) aliquot was transferred for determination of Cu Zn Mn Fe by FAAS and another aliquot for determination of Se bv catalytic POL. It was found that the content ot Se was positively related to the concentration of Se-containing solution (0-30ppm)with a linear regression equation Y=76.06X-38.81 (r=0.9906). In higher concentrations, the growth of Garlic Shoots was inhibited and red elementary Se was precipicd on the surface of the roots. In addtion, the content of Se was in linear correlation with Cu Zu Mn and Fe. Thc correlation cofficients were -0.8999, -0.9512, -0.9101 and -0.9472 respectively.
