Application of Supply Processing Distribution System in the Management of Reagent and Consumables in Departments of Laboratory Medicine

Objective The application effects of supply processing distribution(SPD) system in the management of reagent and consumables in the departments of laboratory medicine were explored.Methods The reagent and consumables in the Department of Laboratory Medicine in the hospital from January 2018 to February 2020 were selected.The reagent and consumables which were managed by traditional mode were included in the control group,while the reagent and consumables which were managed by SPD system were included in the observation group,and then the management effects and the scores of performance evaluation were compared between the two groups.Results The packing integrity rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the configuration error rate,reagent loss rate,consumables loss rate and early release rate were all lower than those of the control group,and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05);The basic management scores,distribution work scores,check-out management scores of the observation were all higher than those of the control group,and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of SPD system in the management of the reagent and consumables in the departments of laboratory medicine could increase the management quality of reagent and consumables,reduce check-out errors,and decrease configuration and delivery mistakes and unnecessary wear and tear.
