Silicone stent for the treatment of narrow after tracheotomy

Objective To investigate the feasibility and primary therapeutic effect of inverted silicone airway stent for the treatment of narrow after tracheotomy.Methods According to the airway stenosis degree and the anatomical structures , we designed the appropriate airway silicone stent . 3 stents were implanted in 3 cases of narrow after tracheotomy under rigid bronchoscope combined electronic bronchoscope.Results The inverted airway silicone stents were placed succussesfully with instantaneous relief of the symptoms and improving of living quality .Conclusion The placement of inverted airway silicone stent is a feasible and safe for treating narrow after tracheotomy
