| Abstract: | A case of histologically low-grade leiomyosarcoma of the rectum showing an unusually late appearance of hepatic metastasis is reported. This was found at autopsy 17 years after a curative resection of the primary rectal tumor that had been diagnosed initially as a leiomyoma. |
