Effects of batroxobin and atorvastatin on neurological function in patients with acute cerebral infarction of different TOAST subtypes

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and security of batroxobin and atorvastatin in patients with acute cerebral infarction of different TOAST subtypes.Methods 240 patients of acute cerebral infarction in Tianmen First People's Hospital from November 2016 to October 2019 were selected,onset time within 48 h.They were randomly divided into the control group and treatment group by random number table method,with 120 cases in each group.The two groups received TOAST typing and basic treatment.The scores of BI and NIHSS were evaluated before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the BI and NIHSS scores of the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS scores of LAA,SAA and other types in the treatment group were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the treatment group was 72.50%,which was higher than 50.83%in the control group(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups.Conclusion Batroxobin and atorvastatin can significantly improve the neurological function of patients with LAA,SAA and other subtypes,no serious adverse reactions,so it deserves clinical trials.
