Effect analysis of Lianhua Qingwen granule and azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Lianhua Qingwen granule and azithromycin in the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia infection in children.Methods 104 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in our hospital from January 2017 to January2020 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into conventional group(azithromycin treatment)and combination group(azithromycin+Lianhua Qingwen granule treatment),with 52 cases in each group.The curative effect,improvement time of clinical symptoms,levels of inflammatory factors and pulmonary function before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rate of the combined group was 96.15%,which was higher than 84.62%of the conventional group(P<0.05).The improvement time of fever,lung rales,cough and expectoration in the combined group was shorter than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the levels of CRP,PCT,IL-6 and FVC,FEV1,and PEF between the two groups.After treatment,the levels of CRP,PCT and IL-6 in the combined group were lower than those in the conventional group,while the levels of FVC,FEV1 and PEF in the combined group were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia,azithromycin and Lianhua Qingwen granule can shorten the course of disease,reduce the inflammatory reaction,and improve the lung function index of the patients,with significant effect.
