Abstract: | Objective: To gain more data for the diagnosis and treatment for primary hepatic lymphoma(PHL). Methods: A 32-year-old man was admitted due to fatigue, anorexia, loss of weight and fever. Physical examination was carried out and bone marrow aspitation, blood culture, endoscopy of stomach and colon, chest X-ray, renal fumction and liver function test were all done. Results: Physical examination showed slight abdominal tenderness all edema of the legs, and the liver was unpalpable. Alpha- fetoprotein (AFP ) and carcinomoembryonic antigen (CEA ) were negative. Laboratory tests of rheumatic diseases such as ANA and ENA were all normal. Abdominal ultrasonography and computerized tomography showed diffuse low density or diffuse hypoechogenic changes of the liver, there was no obvious mass lesion in the liver. Conclusion: The diagnosis of PHL was affirmed, and the subtype was non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. |
