摘 要: | 目的 探讨晚发性抑郁症患者血浆脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF)水平与抑郁症发病及认知功能之间的关系.方法 采用酶联免疫吸附法测定34例未经治疗的晚发性抑郁症患者(患者组)和32名正常对照(对照组)血浆BDNF水平;对患者组及对照组进行17项汉密尔顿抑郁量表( HAMD17)评估及神经心理学测试;对患者组的血浆BDNF水平及HAMD17总分与认知功能进行Pearson相关分析.结果 患者组治疗前的神经认知测试成绩显著差于对照组(P<0.01);患者组的血浆BDNF水平[(3.24±2.67) μg/L]低于对照组[(6.71±3.16)μg/L,P<0.01].血浆BDNF水平与各项认知成绩、HAMD17总分值均无显著相关性(P>0.05).结论 部分晚发性抑郁症患者存在认知功能广泛受损;血浆BDNF水平低下与晚发性抑郁症发病密切相关,与认知功能可能无直接相关性.

The plasma brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels and cognitive functions in late onset depressive patients |

Abstract: | Objective To explore the correlations between plasma levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and its relationship with cognitive function in late onset depressive patients ( LOD ).Methods The plasma BDNF levels in late onset depressive patients ( n =34 ) without antidepressant treatment and normal controls (n =32) were measured with the ELISA method.The Hamilton Depression Scale-17 items (HAMD17) was used to assess depressive severity, and a series of neuropsychologic tests to extensively assess cognitive function.The correlation coefficients between plasma BDNF level and cognitive function and total scores of HAMD17 were performed by using Pearson correlation analysis.Results The plasma BDNF levels in LOD patients [ ( 3.24 ± 2.67 ) μg/L ] were significantly lower than that in controls [ ( 6.71 ± 3.16 ) μg/L,P < 0.01 ]. Compared with control group,the significantly lower levels of neuropsychologic tests were in LOD group (P <0.01 ).The plasma BDNF level was not related to the total scores of HAMD17 and cognitive function in LOD patients (P > 0.05 ).Conclusions The LOD patients in acute phase may have extensive impairments of cognitive function which may be aggravated by mood symptoms.The BDNF may plays no important role in cognitive function,and may be involved in the pathogenesis of LOD. |
