Testing time for the sunlight hypothesis of cataract |

| Abstract: | The proceedings of a 2-day workshop on the role of sunlight in cataract formation have provided an opportunity to assess the importance of this widely discussed risk factor. There seems to be no role in nuclear cataract, and any role in cortical or posterior subcapsular cataract is scarcely measurable. |
