Abstract:	The Amplatzer atrial septal defect occlusion device has gained popularity for the nonoperative closure of secundum-type defects. We describe a case of multiple atrial septal defects that were consolidated into a single defect using blade atrial septostomy for successful closure with single Amplatzer device.
