血管内皮生长因子C在胃癌的表达及其与淋巴道转移和预后的关系

目的:探讨血管内皮生长因子C(VEGF-C)在胃癌的表达及与淋巴道转移和预后的关系。方法:采用免疫组化S-P技术,检测80例胃癌组织中VEGF-C的表达及与淋巴道转移和预后的关系,另取20例经胃镜检查病理证实为浅表性胃炎的胃黏膜组织作为对照组。结果:VEGF-C阳性表达主要位于胃癌细胞胞质和胞膜,胃癌组织中VEGF-C的阳性表达率明显高于对照组(P<0.01),VEGF-C表达与胃癌淋巴结转移有一定关系(P<0.01),经Kaplan-Meier生存分析,VEGF-C是影响患者术后生存的独立性指标。结论:VEGF-C表达于胃癌细胞,VEGF-C的表达局部淋巴结转移和预后相关。

Expression of vascular endothelial growth factor-C in stomach cancer and its relationship with lymphatic metastasis and prognosis

Objective：To study the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor-C （VEGF-C） in stomach cancer and its correlation with lymphatic metastasis and prognosis. Methods：The specimens from 80 patients with primary gastric cancer and 20 specimens from superficial gastritis as controls were examined using S-P immunohistochemistry. The expression of VEGF-C in the stomach cancer and its relationship with lymphatic metastasis and prognosis were studied. Results：Immunohistological staining with VEGF-C specific polyelonal antibody showed cytoplasmic and membranous staining in the cancer ceils. The expression of VEGF-C in gastric carcinoma was significantly higher than that in control and was correlated with lymphatic metastasis （P 〈 0.01 ） ; Kaplau-Meier survival analysis showed that VEGF-C was an independent factor for the prognosis of the patients. Conclusions ： VEGF-C is expressed in stomach cancer and its overexpression correlates with the lymphatic metastasis and the prognosis.
