经胸乳入路腔镜甲状腺切除术的体会

Experience in the endoscopic thyroidectomy via thoraco-breast approach

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy on endoscopic thyroidectomy.Methods Endoscopic thyroid tumor resection via areola of mamma was performed in 31 cases.Among them,thyroid adenoma,nodular goiter and thyroid cancer were in 9、21、1-case respectively.Results The operations of 29 cases were performed successfully,including unilateral thyroid tumor resection in 5 cases,subtotal thyroidectomy in 24 cases and transferred to open surgery in2 cases.The operative time ranged from 90 to 160 minutes（average 110.5 minutes）.No superior laryngeal nerve,recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroid were injured.Only one case occurred skin ecchymosis.Postoperative hospitalization was in5 to 7 days（average 6.1 days）.The operative cosmetic results was satisfactory.Conclusion Endoscopic thyroid procedures are a safe and ideal operative method.It possesses a good cosmetic result.
